Have you been yearning for the distinct taste of Asian delights lately?

Well, look no further than this new restaurant in town. Toast Asian Kitchen and Tasting Room serves a wide array of playful Asian dishes that burst flavors and spices. From signature favorites to classic must-try meals with a twist, this restaurant will surely satisfy your cravings.

True to its “retro in the metro” feel, the visually-appealing interior, aesthetics and over-all ambiance in Toast will complement the great dining experience it offers.

Here are some of my favorites from small plates to main dishes and yakitoris.

Banh Mini

Having a bite of these Banh Mini is a sure way to fire up your appetite! These banh mi burger sliders are made from scrumptious Vietnamese meatloaves with pickled vegetables sandwiched between tasty brioche buns. Take caution though because the spicy kick might surprise you!

Tom Yum Meatballs

This dish is a Tom Yum goodness! If you’re a fan of the classic Thai soup, then you must try this. These pork meatballs are seasoned to perfection with tom yum spices, smothered with tom yum sauce and finished with melted cheese.

Longganisa Pasta

Longganisa lovers, look! Toast is also offering a fusilli pasta with tomato cream sauce, and fried longganisa as its main ingredient. To be honest, I’m not a fan of longganisa but hey, to my surprise, I really loved this pasta! Plus, one plate of this is actually good for two.

Twice-Cooked Pork with Salted Egg Fried Rice

This crowd-favorite did not disappoint. The tender meat of the braised and seared pork belly was made more flavorful through honey and garlic. Oh did I mention that it is served in a bed of salted egg fried rice?

I bet you’ll love the sweet and savory taste of this twice-cooked pork!

Yakitori

These Japanese-style skewers are the best. From chicken wings and wagyu cubes to pork belly and shrimp, Toast got you covered. You may also choose from soy baste or teriyaki sauce for the finishing flavor.

For the record, they serve the best wagyu cubes I’ve ever tasted yet!

Blacksa

Toast also offers the well-known laksa but they serve it with a twist – black squid ink. Hence, the name Blacksa. This spicy black noodle soup boasts its rich broth and tender toppings that will get you hooked on the first sip!

Wagyu with Chinese Broccoli

If you can’t get enough of wagyu like I do, then you must not miss this one. As expected, the wagyu meat is tender and made more flavorful with the sauce while the Chinese broccoli is also cooked to perfection.

Writing this article is actually making me crave for it!

Desserts

The Toast dining experience is best finished with their sweet and light desserts. The bestselling Tapioca and Mango Trifle will make you fall for its fruity and refreshing taste while the new Chocnut Creme Caramel is the best option for chocolate lovers out there.

Cocktails

In case you want to stay a little longer after dinner, you may also try their selection of cocktails and other liquors. I personally loved the Jack Sparrow which is a spiced rum mixed with jackfruit and apple. Another cocktail worth trying is the Nutty Evening if you’re up for a glass of cognac with Frangelico hazelnut and cocoa chocolate.
