A certain beloved Philippine beer is expanding to United States’ shores.
Plans for San Miguel Brewery’s new $150 million dollar facility is underway, making this the Philippine company’s first build in the United States.
Looks like San Miguel has some big plans in store, as according to Beer Street Journal, the construction in Los Angeles is part of a $500 million operations expansion! Aside from that, the company is also adding two more facilities in the Philippines.
San Miguel Beer is the highest-selling beer in the Philippines and in Hong Kong, Aside from the Philippines, the brewery has overseas operations in Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand Hong Kong, and China.
San Miguel beer is currently available in over 60 countries worldwide, with an affiliate brand under the name Mahou San Miguel in Madrid, Spain.
