Here are the books I got.
The Faerie Path by Trewin Jones is a Young Adult Fantasy where an ordinary girl has waking dreams of flying on faerie wings. She discovers she is the daughter of the king of the faeries and that her mother might have been murdered by someone in the kingdom. A very quick read.
There is creepy music and half-seen shadows in The Djinn by Graham Masterton. I’m reading it now in keeping with the Halloween season. This copy is coverless and dog-eared but I don’t mind.
James Twinning’s The Black Sun looks like a good thriller, featuring a secret that has been hidden for half a century. There is a hunt and a chase; a stolen painting, and an amputated arm. How can I not get this book?
I have a weakness for historical mysteries, where ancient secrets surface to shake up the modern world. The Da Vinci Legacy by Lewis Perdue was a steal.
