Entertainment website Starmometer has declared a winner for this year’s Ultimate Asian Heartthrob, and it’s none other than Kpop star V from global sensation BTS!
V, or Kim Taehyung, emerged victorious after getting the highest number of votes across Starmometer’s social media pages and online polls.
This is the third time V won the coveted title, beating many stars and idols across the continent. Some of the celebrities he won against in the weeklong polls are Ken Suson of Filipino idol group SB19, Xiao Zhan from China, and BamBam of GOT7.
On second, third, and fourth place are V’s bandmates Jungkook, Jin, and Jimin while Porsche (aka Sivakorn Adulsuttikul) of Thailand landed in fifth place. The Philippines’ very own Alden Richards placed sixth overall while NCT127’s Jaehyun took the seventh spot.
