This instagram shop donates part of its sales to providing tablets to students

In a world run down by the pandemic, it’s hard to stay afloat when it comes to hope. A lot of things are stressful, bits of bad news one after the other. But there are people out there who are dedicated to trying to make the world a better place. Meet Bianca Symaco, the user behind @wearyours.ph on Instagram. While many people have opened up online businesses in order to earn a little extra, Bianca extends her earnings to @hayag.phl, a group that helps female inmates access sanitary products, donates and helps out impoverished families and communities, as well as students who need access to tablets for school.

“I realized na I can do more than sell my clothes. since the beginning of the pandemic, I just didn’t know how to help Filipinos beyond the comfort of my home — so I dedicated this to them,” Symaco says. “I reached out to some orgs that aligned with my own vision and ended up with Hayag PHL, an org that takes up multiple projects. But the project I partnered up with them for August is specifically for buying tablets and donating for students struggling during online classes. after this month, I’ll either continue to partner up with Hayag but with a different initiative or reach out to another org to continue donating specifically for tablets. depends on the situation by then!”

We salute you, Bianca! Thank you for the love you give! Follow the store at https://www.instagram.com/wearyours.ph/ !
