What was the biggest, grandest thing the company where you work has done for you and all their employees?
If you ask the people from this one company based in Quezon City, the answer will be obvious: They closed down Enchanted Kingdom one Sunday so their employees could have the place all to themselves, and they raffled out a brand new car.

The company is called Afni Philippines, a BPO call center based in Quezon City. They recently celebrated their Family Day where they invited ALL their employees plus their families for a day in Enchanted Kingdom. So there they were, all 4,000 plus of Afni’s employees and their loved ones enjoying a fun-filled exclusive day at one of the best family destinations in the Philippines. And. All. For. FREE.
So lucky! Imagine being able to ride Space Shuttle, Rio Grande, and all of your favorite EK rides over and over without the super long lines? They even provided food coupons and roundtrip bus transfers for everyone to make sure no one had to worry about getting there. Everyone just had to show up and have a good time!

And can we talk about that brand new car???
On the same day the company celebrated their Family Day, Afni Philippines also ran a raffle promo among their employees where they gave out a ton of prizes both big and small, from gadgets to free trips to concert tickets. But that’s not all. The company also gave away FIVE brand new MOTORBIKES, and one grand prize—A BRAND NEW CAR!

This gesture just goes to show how much this company is willing to go all-out in giving back to their own.
The moment the winners were called out, you could see the undeniable joy in the winners’ faces as they walked on stage. Imagine going home that day with a brand new vehicle! The winner of the grand prize, a Toyota Wigo, was beaming on stage as she received the “key” to her new car. This car, after all, is not something that would benefit only her, but her entire family as well. And that is what Afni’s Family Day was all about.

Previous Family Day celebrations include out-of-town trips and renting out resorts where all their employees and their families were invited. But as a fast-growing company, this year’s Family Day is their biggest yet. With all of their current 4,000 plus employees and their families invited, an incredible 9,000 people came to celebrate Family Day with Afni at Enchanted Kingdom that Sunday.
When we asked the people behind Afni Philippines why they go to such lengths for their employees, their answer was simple—because “Family Matters”. Afni’s Executive Director, Khalid Khursheed, shared with us: “We understand at Afni that Family is important to all of us and that is the very reason we focus on bringing families of our employees to most of our company events. I love Family Day as I get to meet and interact with the people that support our employees at home.”
For the company, Family Day is their way of giving back to the people who help them thrive. Afni is indeed a growing company, and they want to make sure that their employees—and their families—grow with them.
