This bus terminal has ‘first class’ feels, free Wi-Fi, P2P to Baguio, and more

Traveling around Manila and around the country isn’t always an enjoyable thing.

However, traveling via this bus terminal can give a new meaning to traveling in comfort.

Shared by Skinniest Jean on Facebook, she detailed her recent trip to Baguio where she felt like she was traveling “first class.”

If you are a Filipino and an avid commuter, you will know how braving public transpo is like: (spell) H@$sLë! No more further explanation ayon na yun basta Hassle sizt!

This is my first time travelling to Baguio. (Not to soul search, but to UKAY! ? #UkayisLife) I have to make it a little worry & hassle-free din coz it’s my sister’s mandatory vacay from work, so I decided to try out Manila ?to Baguio ? first ever P2P bus!

Experience: 9.5/10 ( yung .5 para sa traffic ng Edsa! ?)

PITX made me hope for more Govt. project like this in the future! Kung sa ganito mapupunta ang tax nating lahat di na ko aangal! #LabanPinas ?

◼️ If you’re planning to visit Baguio anytime soon, you might consider this. More details in the photo caption. ?

What is PITX?

PITX or Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange is the country’s first ever landport. It’s a bus terminal that definitely looks and feels like an airport. A government project that makes people from Cavite, Laguna and Batangas go to Metro Manila easier and vice versa.

Facilities:

The airport-like landport is equipped with free fast wifi while waiting for our ride, as well as charging ports under the seats. I loved how it has trolleys for baggage and luggage as well as wheelchairs for Senior Citizens and PWD. Fully functional escalators, water fountains in case you get thirsty, food and coffee corners are available too. All gender washroom is also available for our LGBT friends.

Yes, first class looking airport. Reminds me of how to be a commuter in Singapore: convenient and comfy.

Well maintained at may paikot ikot na maintenance/cleaners everywhere! Sana laging ganito. Kaya mga kapwa ko Pilipino kalat mo, ibulsa mo.

Ps: Carpet na lang kulang at konting “anik” for the aesthetic purposes — Changi Airport na in Singapore! ?

HOW TO GO TO PITX?

Majority of city buses from EDSA going to Baclaran drops by at PITX now. Also, Cavite to Baclaran buses drops off at PITX. The thing is, most buses don’t have a signboard to let commuters know that they’ll drop by PITX. Otherwise, you can just ask the bus conductor.

Have you tried traveling via PITX? How was it?
