Studying abroad brings about a LOT of benefits. You get to see the world in a different perspective, plus you get to learn about the culture of the country that you’re in! But we know that setting foot on a different country may feel frustrating since you’ll be away from loved ones and there’s a lot of things to learn. For people still in school, finding one that feels like home is a top priority.
And we might have just found that school for those moving to Canada: Centennial College!
Centennial college is based in Toronto, Ontario. They’re the first college choice for international students for six consecutive years. Just last year, they had tens of thousands of foreign students from 126 countries!

Centennial College offers more than 200 academic programs in Business, Engineering Technology and Applied Science, Communications, Media, Arts and Design, Community and Health, Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts, and Transportation, as well as English Language Learning. With the various fields they offer, interested students sure have a lot of options to choose from.
They’re also known for producing job-ready students—employers hiring graduates from Centennial College are satisfied or very satisfied with their hires. Their programs rely on experiential learning, giving students exposure to their fields of interest before graduating.

We’ve got good news for you: Centennial College has just opened its office in the Philippines.
Their representative office in the Philippines will serve as a bridge between prospective students in the Philippines and Centennial College, as well as other Canadian colleges, including Fanshawe College and Fleming College. They’d also be hosting information sessions about the Canadian education system, benefits of Centennial’s career-oriented programs, and opportunities to study and work in Canada.
Worried about the possible cost of education? Centennial College’s got that! They offer financial assistance through scholarships, which students can avail of if they stay for at least a semester. Centennial College is also a designated learning institution (DLI), which means students are eligible to work 20 hours a week during classes and full-time during breaks. After they graduate, they can apply for a post-graduate work permit and work full-time. Their Canadian work experience can help them gain permanent residence in Canada.
