There’s going to be a live-action movie of Cinderella and Sony already found the actor to play the Fairy Godmother.
It’s going to be Billy Porter, famous for playing Pray Tell in Pose and Behold Chablis in American Horror Story: Apocalypse. He is also known for his role as Lola in the Broadway musical Kinky Boots, for which he has won a Tony for Best Actor in a Musical.

This live-action adaptation of Cinderella is a modern take on the fairy tale classic. Cinderella will be played by Camila Cabello, who will also provide the music for the film.
This version of Cinderella was the idea of James Corden, who will produce the film.
There’s no word when this live-action movie will come out.
