These Two Artists Created the Theme Song for New “Rurouni Kenshin” Film, and It Sounds Amazing!

In case you haven’t heard, two new “Rurouni Kenshin” live-action movies are coming this month of April which continue the story of the pacifist wanderer Himura Kenshin, based on the final arc of the “Rurouni Kenshin” manga by Nobuhiro Watsuki.

With less than a week left until its premiere in Japanese theaters, the “Rurouni Kenshin: The Final” movie has released the music video for its theme song titled “Renegades” which was a collaboration between British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK.

The video was launched on April 16 and it’s as epic as you could imagine! Listen to it below:

“Rurouni Kenshin: The Final” will be followed by the movie “Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning,” both of which serve as the conclusion of the live-action saga with Takeru Satoh taking on the titular role.

It’s still unknown if and when the movies will be shown in the Philippines.
