These Are the Most Watched Shows on Netflix in Each Country (Guess What the PH’s is?)

Netflix has changed how we watch TV. The network creates original and thought-provoking content, and releases all episodes in a season at the same time to encourage binge-watching. Many of pop culture’s most talked about shows are from the network: House of Cards, Stranger Things, Riverdale, and more. But have you ever wondered what the most watched shows are in the world? And in each country?

HighSpeedInternet.com conducted a study to see what the viewers want, both across the world and in each country. The website used Google Trends to “rank countries by their number of Netflix-related searches and cross-referenced their ranks with their most-searched show.”

So what did they find out?

According to their studies, the most watched Netflix show in the world is Sherlock, followed by Friends, Narcos, House of Cards, and New Girl.

In the Philippines, it was revealed that the most watched show on the app is My Love From the Star, an award-winning Koreanovela that follows an “alien who landed on Earth in the Joseon Dynasty and, 400 years later, falls in love with a top actress in the modern era.” It stars Kim Soo-hyun, Jun Ji-hyun, Park Hae-jin, and Yoo In-na.

As for the rest of the world, HighSpeedInternet.com found that these are the most watched shows:
