Of all the four-legged pets around, cats would probably get the “Most Independent” medal. Given that they are so self-sufficient and low-maintenance, you can just enjoy the single pawrent life without the fuss.
Aside from all that, these furry felines are not into material possessions and fancy-schmancy things in life. Well, these five instances below will show us how simple cats are.
5. They’d rather sleep inside a box than in a cat condo.
Yup, it looks like your urban-dwelling kitties are not interested in that cat condo you just bought. Not to mention, they got more excited when they saw that empty box right beside the condo. *sad*
4. No need for a salon sesh, they can groom themselves.
Oh please, don’t even bother taking your cat to a pet spa. They’re good with self-grooming. If anything, they’d probably get mad at you for letting a stranger hooman touch their glorious bellies.
3. Cat house? Nah, a paper bag is good.
Remember that comfy and oh-so-cute cat house that’s just sitting in the corner of your room? Yup, your cat would rather sleep inside the paper bag lying on the floor than step a paw on that cat house.
2. Instead of dressing up, they do the catwalk naked.
Cats feel more comfortable living life on their own fur and not covered with clothes. For them, dressing up is unnecessary and as you know, any attempt would only result to ripped fabrics.
1. They prefer ordinary things than expensive toys.
Seriously, though, they don’t need expensive toys and things to be happy. Cats will do just fine entertaining themselves using plastic, car keys, earphone wires, or basically anything lying on the floor except expensive toys.
I hope these points made us realize that true happiness doesn’t rely on costly material possessions but in boxes, plastics and paper bags. Well, at least for cats.
