If you’re a fan of American Idol or any of the local iterations, we have good news: a new edition will back and it’s going to be called Idol Philippines.
The judges have been revealed and they will be made up of “Asia’s Songbird” Regine Velasquez, It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda, singer/actor James Reid, and singer-songwriter Moira dela Torre.
The show will be hosted by Billy Crawford.
Idol Philippines will the third iteration of the Idols franchise following Philippine Idol in 2006 and Pinoy Idol in 2008. Idols has been described as the world’s most widely watched television franchise and one of the most successful entertainment formats. Over 46 regions in the world have adapted the show.
There is no word when Idol Philippines will air on ABS-CBN.
