There's a Sequel to Big Fat Liar But We're a Little Confused

Yo listen up here’s a story: 2002 was a great year, and one of the reasons why was Frankie Muniz and Amanda Bynes starring in the teen comedy Big Fat Liar. In the film, Muniz plays Jason Shepherd, a 14 year old pathological liar who claims that his creative writing assignment was stolen by Paul Giamatti, who plays a Hollywood producer named Marty Wolf set on making it into a movie. The thing is, Shepherd is telling the truth.

Though critics didn’t love it, it was a fun movie. The best part? When Wolf dives into a pool and turns blue. In one of the movie’s key scenes, a character says, “They told me to pick up a little blue car. They didn’t say anything about a little blue man.”

Iconic.

It turns out that there’s a sequel to the film, and it’s called Bigger Fatter Liar. What confuses us is that none of the original actors are in the film. But the most confusing part? It was released quietly on April 18.

The standalone sequel is somewhat similar. According to IMDB, “Kevin Shepard is a tech-savvy young genius who uses his intelligence to slack off. When greedy video game executive Larry Wolf gets a hold of his ideas for a video game, Kevin and his best friend Becca set off for San Francisco to make Wolf’s life miserable through a series of pranks.”

Instead of turning the sequel’s Wolf blue, they turn him white.

What?
