There’s a Fan-Made Voldemort Origins Trailer and it Looks Magical!

Voldemort Origins Trailer

Voldemort may have already been vanquished, but the magic of Harry Potter still lives on. Just take a look at the website Pottermore and the interest in Harry Potter and The Cursed Child, its stage adaptation, and the spinoff series Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Of course, the internet is ground zero for the Potter fandom, and one fan created a teaser trailer to a film called Voldemort: Origins of the Heir.

Tryangle Studio’s teaser explores the past of Voldemort, also known as Tom Riddle.

Watch the first in a series of teasers below:

The trailer explores the mysterious death of Hepzibah Smith in 1943, a descendant of the ancient Hufflepuff family. Authorities seem to believe that she died in the hands of her house elf, but Grisha Mac Laggen, heir of Gryffindor, believes that Riddle is involved. Riddle doesn’t appear much in the video, except to reveal that he graduated from Hogwarts, quit his job at the antique shop Borgin and Burkes, and mysteriously disappeared.

The story itself is beautiful, but what’s astounding about the fan-made teaser is the quality of production. We’re not sure where the producers are taking it next, apart from more trailers, but they’re accepting Paypal donations on their Facebook page.
