On Saturday, November 25th, a group of models and actors will reenact the epic tale of Lam-Ang through artistic tableau in full make-up and costume during the BCG Art Center Festival’s Theatrical Drawing Session. This event is a dynamic and expressive figure drawing jam led by Pens N’ Brushes Philippines.

“Theatrical Drawing Session is a fresh and unique figure sketching event where both artists and actors produce work in a relax and inspirational setting. Its purpose is to inspire and excite,” said Angelica of Pens N’ Brushes, who also organizes the successful The Life Drawing Session and the recently launched Portraits 360°. “This event will surely stimulate everyone’s imagination – from the lights and music to the actor’s elegant movements and performance that lead to one dynamic imagery.”

The three-hour event offers every artist and enthusiast the opportunity to immerse themselves in several artistic opportunities and processes. Artists and photographers of all levels are welcome to join, as well as those who just want to witness the act and drama unfold.

The entire session is divided into 3 acts; each is followed by short breaks and performances. One of these is a live musical rendition by Quartet Manila, one of the city’s emerging musical ensembles who had several appearances on TV and other big events which will paint a quaint scene for the characters at the exciting culmination of the event.

Participants are welcome to bring their own materials, but if you want to try something new, the event’s official art material provider, Faber-Castell Philippines, will furnish you with their excellent range of art media.

The session begins at 5 p.m. Admission is Php120 for early birds, while the standard rate is Php150. For more information, feel free to email: info@pensnbrushes.com or visit their Facebook page at facebook.com/pensnbrushesph
