The West Valley Fault MMDA Earthquake Ad Looks Like an Apocalyptic Movie

You wouldn’t expect a government agency to have an advertisement that looks like an apocalyptic movie, but you haven’t seen the Metro Manila Development Authority’s (MMDA) latest public service announcement. In their latest PSA promoting earthquake awareness, it looks less like a promotional video and more an apocalyptic movie.

In the video, the scene opens to a casual day in Manila. A family drives their child to school, commuters ride on a jeep and train, and a class is in session. Then the earth shifts and an earthquake happens. The clips ends with MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino talking about the importance of preparation.
