Get ready to bring out your wackiest and craziest costumes as the UPLB Trantados Triathlon Club once again presents the Trantados Beginners’ Fun/Costume Triathlon!
Now on its 14th year, this race is one of a kind as it is the only costume triathlon in Asia. Participants are encouraged (but not required) to wear their wackiest and most creative costumes during the race. Racecourse includes a Mini-Sprint Distance of a 400-meter swim, 18-kilometer bike and a 3.5-kilometer run.
There is also a shortened distance for kids (200m-3km-1.5km) and a team relay. Over 250 participants, both beginner and amateurs are expected to join in on the fun tri. The race will be held this September 29, 2018 at the University of the Philippines Los Baños Baker Hall grounds in Laguna. The fun doesn’t stop at the race as finishers are treated to an after-party at IC’s Bar. These Trantados guys and gals are really sticking true to their “50% alcohol, 50% triathlete” moniker.

Registration is until September 23 only. The registration fee is inclusive of the race packet, finisher’s shirt, refreshments, and lots of fun. Payments must be in full to completely register and are non-refundable and non-transferable.
