A small hot dog stand located in Bago Bantay, Quezon City just opened last month and managed to upgrade this popular snack with their range of unique toppings and sauces. The Underdog offers premium hot dogs and gourmet sausages that you can customize to suit your personal taste.
Their dressed dogs, meaning hot dogs with toppings and dressing, are priced at P55. As for the dressed sausages, which are P75, you can choose from Hungarian, Cheese Sausage, or Frankfurter.
To change things up, owner Tet Laher came up with using Crushed Chips or Chippy as a topping. No, it’s not the usual kind of potato chips. It’s actually Lukban longganisa casing!
You can also garnish their perfectly grilled hot dogs with creamy mac n’ cheese!
If you’re not big on experimentation and just want to chow down on a classic hot dog, you can choose among Pickled Radish, Jalapeños, and Chili con Carne for your toppings. For the dressing, they have ketchup, mayo, cheese sauce, mustard, and sriracha.
Twenty-seven year old Tet Laher opened this business all on her own. And not only does she serve great food, but part of the profits are also actually donated to MBY Pet Rescue and Sanctuary through in-kind donations. As an animal lover and proud pet mom to eight dogs, Tet wants to help make sure that the animals in shelters are well-fed and taken care of.
The Underdog is just a short distance away from SM City North Edsa, so if you’re ever in the area, drop by for a sausage party!
