Recognizing this, The Travel Club, in partnership with World Traveller, Hedgren, and JanSport, hosted the third installment of its The Travel Guide Series on June 29, 2024, at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay. The event, themed “Exploring the World Through Education,” empowered aspiring students with invaluable insights and practical advice.
Global education experts from IDP, British Council, and IELTS provided comprehensive guidance on navigating the complexities of studying abroad. Filipino international school alumni, including Richard Carvajal from the University of Oxford, Ivan Bernardo from the University of Singapore, and Chiara Abaquin from Harvard Graduate School, shared their personal journeys, inspiring attendees with their experiences and advice.

The British Council emphasized the importance of the IELTS test as a gateway to international opportunities. Senior Cluster Marketing Manager for Exams, Ms. Danica Tuliao, highlighted the testโs role in unlocking doors to higher education and global careers.
A panel discussion featuring the alumni offered practical tips for aspiring students. Ivan Bernardo encouraged attendees to seek help, Chiara Abaquin emphasized the importance of embracing new opportunities, and Richard Carvajal inspired everyone to seize the moment and enjoy the experience of a lifetime.
Beyond informative sessions, the event offered interactive activities, one-on-one consultations with experts, and exciting prizes, including travel essentials from World Traveller, Hedgren, and JanSport.
