Natalie Portman is making an epic comeback in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! In the first teaser for “Thor: Love and Thunder”, the Academy award-winning actress was revealed holding the Mjölnir.
The story appears to follow Thor Odinson (Chris Hemsworth) after “Avengers: Endgame”. We last saw the god of thunder adrift after the fall of his kingdom, Asgard. After relocating to Tønsberg, Norway, he left the Asgardians on Earth and joined the Guardians of the Galaxy in space.
The trailer begins with his transformation from a child to what he is today, training to get back into shape. He is also revealed as a member of the group, with Chris Pratt, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel set to reprise their roles.
The fourth “Thor” sequel is also directed by Taika Waititi, the man behind the well-received “Thor: Ragnarok”. He also returns in the film as the rock gladiator Korg with previous MCU stars Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, and the new Mighty Thor.
