DAY 1 Digital Marketing

  • A total of 93 participants attended from various senior high schools and colleges
  • Viktor Kapunan gave insights about his position as a Social Media strategist of Near Creatives, and how much he enjoys the work that he does.
  • He also shared his tips and tricks of surviving in the progressing digital era, noting a solid branding and the content creation process.
  • He also highlighted the differences between working as a freelancer and in a digital marketing agency, in which he ended with stating he is still a freelancer yet learning the technicalities of this work with the help of his agency, Near Creatives.

DAY 2 Content Creation

  • A total of 93 participants attended from various senior high schools and colleges
  • Content creation is not an easy path to pursue, a lot of hard work and sacrifices are needed but at the end of the day, what the speakers highlighted is that despite these they still continue to pursue this field because it is what they love, it is their passion.
  • Their talk focused a lot on the market, taking a look at the market and your market. It is important to know who they are and to be familiar with the different platforms available to be able to find the content you want to create.

DAY 3 Digital Illustration

  • A total of 89 participants attended from various senior high schools and colleges
  • Inha Arceo, similar to her works showing the essence of self-love and embracing one’s culture, called other artists to practice self-love and a confidence in one’s own art in order to thrive.
  • You don’t need an art degree to follow your passion; after working in a corporate setting for years Inha resigned to start her own art profession.
  • All artists get creative block once in a while and it’s totally normal. Step outside and reassess the things you enjoy; whether this may be a cup of coffee or your favorite memories in order to spark that one idea.

Conclusion

True to the Ateneo Management Association’s tagline, this year’s The Studio centered on stories of turning one’s passion into a profession. Art has no timeline — it’s never too late to do what you love. Though pursuing art may seem daunting at first, your passion can take you places.. Who knows, maybe taking the first step can lead you to become a pioneer. At the end of the event, The Studio 2022 hoped all participants were able to be inspired to color their curiosity and spark their passion to pursue art.
