Either some little birdie is whispering secrets in Matt Groening’s ear, or they’re just really good at predicting events, with the resemblance looking uncanny!
After their eerie prediction of Trump becoming president, “The Simpsons” has done the unexpected once more: it predicted Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl Halftime Show in their 2012 episode “Lisa Goes Gaga”, and the similarities are just borderline scary!
Gaga’s outfit in the 2012 episode — a silver, sparkly outfit with knee-high boots, is not at all far off from the performer’s actual outfit, a shimmery body suit.
Even the opener to the halftime performance is alike: like in the Simpsons episode, the Mother Monster propelled down cable wires, leaving her fans in awe.

And if that wasn’t enough, Gaga was also seen on a piano in both performances.
The people behind “The Simpsons” are psychic! Or, it could also mean that Gaga inspired her act from that episode.
