The Sesame Street Parody of “Despacito” is the Most Adorable Thing Ever!

Despacito Sesame Street

Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s song “Despacito” may be played over and over again, but you haven’t truly appreciated the song until you’ve heard the Sesame Street parody. The family friendly version was uploaded on YouTube and it’s the most adorable thing ever!

Watch it below:

In their version, Ernie, Bert, and Rosita sing “El Patito,” in reference to Ernie’s rubber duckie. Ernie sings, “Rubber Duckie, it is a connection/ It doesn’t have to be a tubby session, ya/ Take my day from zero to 11, ya.” He even sings the chorus in Spanish, “Oh, el patito, es mi favorito/ Donde quiera que vaya hace su sonido/ El patito es tu buen amigo/ El patito.”

Bert initially complains, “Oh no, not this song again,” but ends up singing the catchy tune.

“Despacito” is currently the most streamed song with 4.6 billion streams across all platforms, and its music video is now the most viewed video on YouTube with more than three billion views.
