The release date of “Stranger Things” season 3 has been announced!

Stranger Things 3

It’s still the first day of 2019 but one of the things we’re looking forward to this year is the third season of the Netflix series Stranger Things. We can now rest easy because the platform announced that the show will be back on July 4, 2019!

Netflix also shared the season’s poster, which features Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard) holding hands as their friends Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Will (Noah Schnapp), and Max (Sadie Sink) enjoy fireworks. The poster is captioned with, “One summer can change anything.”

Stranger Things follows a group of young boys whose friend goes missing, not knowing that his disappearance is tied to a top-secret government experiment that involves monsters and a creepy parallel universe. For its second season, the missing Will Byers returns and seems to be the first person who realizes that not everything is as it should be.

The show has received acclaim from viewers and critics, with its first season earning 18 nominations at the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards.
