The reason why this plane is forced to make an emergency landing will surprise you

Guess the ride wasn’t exactly heaven-scent.

An emergency landing had to be done by an airplane that carried a passenger with an “‘unbearable’ body odour” that came from the Netherlands, supposedly en route to Spain, as reported by The Strait Times.

The article also mentioned that other passengers were showing signs of discomfort including vomiting and faint due to the “stench emanating from the ‘unwashed’ man”.

The crew on board the airplane tried to solve such by quarantining the man in the toilet but pilots decided to make an emergency landing in Portugal.

“The aeroplane diverted because of medical reasons, but it is indeed right that he smelled quite a bit,” the spokesman of the airline said.

A Belgian passenger on board mentioned that the smell was “unbearable“, adding that it was like “he hadn’t washed for several weeks“. He also witnessed other fellow passengers getting sick and had to puke because of the stench.

Apparently, this isn’t the first time that an emergency landing had to be done for the Dutch low-cost airline. Earlier this year, it was reported that a plane that traveled from Dubai to Amsterdam had to do such because of a stench that didn’t seem to go away – of a farting passenger.
