The Real Reason Chris Brown Cancelled His PH Concert

Rapper Chris Brown was supposed to ring in the new year with us with a grand countdown at the Philippine Arena. Instead, he cancelled at the last minute, claiming that he lost his passport the day before his flight. Fans were dismayed and posted their thoughts on social media.

But a report on a popular US website claims to reveal the “real” reason why he cancelled his Philippine appearance: he got back with his girlfriend.

According to a source who spilled exclusively to The Hollywood Life, “No disrespect to his fans out there, but once he and Karrueche [Tran] got back together over Christmas, Chris knew he wasn’t going to be able to make that venue.”

Karrueche reportedly wanted him to still go and perform, but he allegedly told her, “Some things mean more to me than money and my career and that’s you. I want to bring in my New Year with you and that’s what the **** I’m going to do.”
