The Pop-Up Designer Project Thanksgiving Sale
A Thanksgiving Sale from your local designers for all the love and blessings they’ve been getting!
Designers Twinkle Ferraren, Ken Samudio and Tipay Caintic conceptualized a chill shopping experience in an understated building in the heart of Makati, together with Maco Custodio, Mark Tamayo, Joel Escober, Harvic Dominguez, Ann Ong and Paula Dimaano of PIESA.
Opening is at brunch time, 11am, and closing is whenever you feel like leaving!
Little munchies and some drinks are offered to our guests and friends, and come night time, a DJ would be spinning.
The lineup is a mix of eclectic, emerging, local stars & internationally-recognized designers:
Tipay Caintic known for her knitted works using pineapple-cotton fibers manifested in avant-garde pieces whose collection was shown at the International Fashion Showcase / London Fashion Week last February. Ken Samudio who was recently chosen as one of Vogue Magazine Super Talents and showcased his collection in Pitti Immagine Milan just last October, with his super handcrafted embroidered statement accessories. Joel Escober and his glamorous and fabulous creations of garments and accessories. Twinkle Ferraren and her resort + swim + islandwear & accessories made from various indigenous woven fabrics, who showed in Rome last 2013 and Maco Custodio known for his works with leather and various materials in pieces like expandable tote bags, collars, backpacks and shoes. Ann Ong with her signature opulent pieces. Mark Tamayo and his intricately embroidered, embellished & textured gowns using a mix of pineapple-fibers, Harvic Dominguez who also uses local materials indigenous to the north in a mix of structured tailored classics and Paula Dimaano of PIESA – who skillfully handwraps wired sculptural neck pieces and other adornments.
