Theater and literature fans, we have great news for you: The Phantom of the Opera is being turned into a mini-series!

Deadline has reported that the production company behind the Netflix shows Narcos and F Is For Family is adapting the novel of the same, which was turned into a musical.

To be clear, the adaptation will be based on the 1910 novel by Gaston Leroux, and not the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. But hey, we’ll take what we can get because we enjoyed the story.

The Phantom of the Opera tells the story of the titular Phantom, a disfigured composer who falls in the love with Christine Daaé. It has been adapted into many forms of media through the years, most notable of which is the musical. The stage adaptation is the longest-running show on Broadway (and second longest-running musical on the West End). It has swept a few awards, including four trophies at the Laurence Olivier Awards and seven at the Tony Awards.

The musical has been staged in Manila twice, the first in 2012 and the next in 2019.

There is no word when the mini-series will be available.
