“The Nice Guy KDrama 2025” is currently – and honestly, there’s no surprise there. This July, Lee Dong-wook and Lee Sung-kyoung return to Disney+ in this all-new 14-part KDrama about a reformed gangster trying to escape his past.
The Nice Guy KDrama 2025 Plot
Born into the third generation of a family of gangsters, Seok-cheol (played by Lee Dong-wook) grew up knowing nothing but the thrill of violence and family loyalty. Seen by others as nothing more than a thug, Seok-cheol secretly harbors a dream of sailing off into the sunset to become an author like Ernest Hemingway.
Torn between his love for his family and a desire for something more, Seok-cheol will find himself further tested when he reconnects with his first love, Mi-young (played by Lee Sung-kyoung), an aspiring singer with stage fright. Supporting each other on the road to achieving their dreams, will they be able to break through and find happiness or will they be forced to succumb to their fears and their past?

The Nice Guy KDrama 2025 is written by Kim Woonkyung (Yuna’s Street, The Duo) and Kim Hyoseok (Yadang: The Snitch) and is directed by Song Haesung (One Day, Boomerang Family).
