The Miss Universe pageant is saying paalam to the Philippines and is returning to the Las Vegas stage!
The 66th Miss Universe beauty pageant will once again be held at Las Vegas in Nevada on November 26 according to the Miss Universe website, following failed negotiations in the Philippines. This is despite the fact that the Miss Universe Organization initially offered the Philippines to host the pageant again this year.
This year’s pageant will be broadcast live from The Axis at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, the same venue where Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach won her title. And yes, Steve Harvey will be coming back to host the pageant once again, which is a three-hour show.
Pia’s successor, Iris Mittenaere of France will be crowning her successor at this year’s show. The country’s representative to the pageant is Miss Universe Philippines 2017 Rachel Peters.
