Erik Matti’s Seklusyon proved how good our local horror films can be given the right story, excellent cinematography, and a crazy-good director. Now, it looks like Matti is going to raise the bar once again, because his studio, Reality Entertainment, is partnering with Kamikaze Pictures for Ang Pagsanib Kay Leah Dela Cruz.

The trailer doesn’t show much, except of actress Shy Carlos sitting in bed, looking distraught. She seems to be suffering from hallucinations, as she pleads for the voices and gory images to stop. A voice repeatedly asks, “Naniniwala ka ba sa demonyo?” (“Do you believe in the devil?
“) as Carlos begins to laugh.
There’s no word what the film will be about, but we do know that Katski Flores is directing Carlos and Sarah Lahbati.
Ang Pagsanib Kay Leah Dela Cruz will premiere this year.
