The first Moving Images Film Conference in Manila happening this November

In celebration of the Quadricentennial (400th) anniversary of Colegio De San Juan de Letran – Manila (CSJL) and the Centennial Year of Philippine Cinema, Letran and MovingImages Events partnered for the very first Moving Images Film Conference 2019 (MIFC). Supported by the Film Development Council of the Philippines, the event highlights the arts and values in filmmaking.

Film industry’s bests will grace MIFC 2019 including blockbuster and award-winning directors Cathy Garcia-Molina, Antoinette Jadaone and Paul Soriano who will discuss values integration on their works.

Film students, practitioners and enthusiasts can now expand their knowledge on screenplay writing with director Dwein Baltazar and Star Cinema creative head Jancy Nicolas.

Sharing their expertise on film producing are Nuuk and Kita-Kita producer Erwin Blanco and Ten17p creative head and director-producer RC delos Reyes. 

Offering insights on the importance of two of the least popular film positions – Assistant Directing and Script Continuity Supervising – with director Barry Gonzales and Gbert Tongo.

Admission is at PHP 950. Participants will also get a chance to interact with various production companies such as Star Cinema, Black Sheep, Viva Films, Ten17p and MAVX Productions.
