The E-Waste Project, currently on its third year, is a joint effort among student organizations from different universities to raise awareness and inform people about proper E-Waste Management. The collected E-Waste of participating universities will be sold to Envirocycle, an E-Waste management company. Proceeeds of this project will be used to fund AKBAY.
AKBAY or Advanced Knowledge for the Betterment of the Advancing Youth, aims to provide at least 10 computer stations, provide computer literacy program, and empower the use of computers to its beneficiary public high school. AKBAY will help students to become technology oriented, which is a very valuable skill in the academic and professional fields.
