Unfortunately, it is also a huge waste of time. The thousands of hours of productivity lost on sites like facebook, tumblr, icanhazcheezburger, 9gag, etc, could have instead been devoted to fixing the European financial crisis or finding a way to reverse global warming. Or even learning French like you’ve been telling yourself you would one day.
