One of the movies we’re waiting for is the film adaptation of Artemis Fowl, based on the series of novels written by Eoin Colfer.
Now, the first trailer was just released and we’re even more excited to see it!

Artemis Fowlย follows the adventures of the titular character, a teenage genius who battles with a race of fairies who may be behind his fatherโs disappearance. The series includes eight novels published between 2001 and 2012, which was received well by critics. Theย New York Timesย describes the series asย Die Hardย with fairies, and said that โColfer has done enormously, explosively well.โ
The adaptation will starย Ferdia Shaw, Lara McDonnell Tamara Smart,ย Nonso Anozie,ย Hong Chau,ย Josh Gad, andย Judi Dench. It will be directed by Professor Gilderoy Lockhartย Kenneth Branagh.
Artemis Fowlย is set to premiere onย August 9, 2019.
