Are you ready to put that skills and wits to the test?
The Geographic Society of the University of the Philippines (GSUP), an academic organization based in the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy in the University of the Philippines Diliman, presents the 8th Philippine Geography Olympiad (PGO), an annual national inter-high school quiz competition.
This quiz competition tackles topics on Geography and other related fields and has been participated by several schools hailing from various parts of the country.
For the past few years, the champions of the PGO have been sent to different countries to compete in the International Geography Olympiad (iGeo). In the previous year’s iGeo, one of our representatives was awarded a bronze medal, competing with 160 others from 40 countries. For PGO8, our champions will be sent to compete in Quebec, Canada.
