This year’s premier youth economics forum is only a few days away!
For almost two decades, the National Youth Congress (NYC) has been one with the Filipino youth by being an avenue for aspiring minds to engage in meaningful discourse that tackles significant social issues faced by the country.
Organized by the UP School of Economics Student Council and the UP Economics Society, NYC 19 stays true to its mandate of shaping the country’s youth leaders. At its core, the Congress aims to continue the legacy of fostering ideas and inspiring progress among high school students from all over the nation. Through various competitions and talks from renowned speakers, delegates are able to acquire and apply learnings with the goal of contributing to nation-building.
In its 19th year, NYC delves into the fields of institutional, urban, digital, and environmental economics with the theme “Built To Last: Foundations of an Innovative and Sustainable Philippines.”
This year’s Congress aims to explore the pillars that enable nations to work towards sustainability and development without leaving anyone behind. Various approaches that promote industry, innovation, and infrastructure as a significant step towards inclusive economic recovery and growth shall be discussed.
The 19th National Youth Congress is co-presented by Synthillate, Brother, Unilever, FilPass Tamperproof Tech IncMotivo, Fredley Group of Companies, K-COOL PH Cosmetics and Skin Care Products Trading, realme, Nextile PH, KonsultaMD and done in partnership with Rebisco and Airspeed. NYC 19 will be held via Zoom and livestreamed on Facebook this November 19-20, 2022.
