The 1975 is coming back to Manila!

The 1975

If you’re one of the many fans of the pop rock band The 1975, we have great news for you: they’re coming back to Manila for the fourth time!

The concert will be on September 11, 2019, and is part of their Asia tour. The tour will also cover South Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Singapore.

MMI Live also announced that tickets to the concert will be on sale starting December 14. Prices have not been announced.

The 1975 is composed of vocalist Matt Healy, guitarist Adam Hann, bassist Ross MacDonald, and drummer George Daniel. The band got their start when they performed in gigs as teenagers. They released EPs, followed by their self-titled album in 2013. The 1975 have the singles “Sex,” “Girls,” “Settle Down,” “Robbers,” and “Heart Out.” The album was followed by I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It and A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships. Next year, they will launch Notes on a Conditional Form and it’s likely we’ll get to see the band perform the songs when they visit Manila.

Their Manila concert will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
