Deadline reports that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is getting another movie, thanks to Nickelodeon. The film will be CG animated, unlike the last two adaptations that were live-action.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a media franchise that spans comic books, movies, series, games, toys, and more. It started as a comic book meant to parody four popular comics in the ’80s: Daredevil, New Mutants, Cerebus, and Ronin.

The series follows the adventures of four teenage mutant turtles as they fight crime anonymously. They live in the sewers of New York City, where they stay with their sensei, a rat who taught them ninjutsu.

The franchise has seen six films since 1990. It was rebooted in 2014, followed by a sequel in 2016.

There’s no word yet what the upcoming film will be about, but it will be the second animated film in the franchise following TMNT in 2007.
