About TED and TEDx
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has launched a program that provides individuals the initiative to create and host their own TED-like event.
This local, self-organized gathering is branded TEDx — the “x” standing for independently organized — with the goal of bringing together like-minded people with diverse backgrounds and interests to share a TED-like experience within their own community.
