Teatro Komunikado Celebrates Its 18th Theater Season with Two Original Plays and One Adaptation

For it’s 18th anniversary, Teatro Komunikado, fondly known as TK, the premier theater and production organization of PUP – College of Communication will be having it’s Mazkara Festival this coming December 6 and 7 with three shows per day starting at 3pm, 5pm & 7pm at Lagerway Hall, Communication Foundation for Asia, Old Sta. Mesa street, Sta. Mesa Manila.

Mazkara Festival is the theater festival and also serves as the culminating activity for TK’s members and workshoppers. This year, get ready to experience another rollercoaster of emotions as they feature two original plays and one adaptation.




Concept of: Job Nicodemus

Written by: Gabriel Brioso and Jer-ric Martinez

Directed by: Gabriel Brioso


Pamana tells the story of a three siblings mourning for the loss of their mother who left them with a mystery box that turns out as her last will.



Written and directed by: Marck Ryan Cidro

Yin and Yang is about an investigation to a crime where the husband was found dead in a motel’s rooftop and the wife is the prime suspect. It tells the two possible truths on the death of the husband.

Adapted by: Marck Ryan Cidro 

Directed by: Diana Rodrigo


Ang bastos is an adaptation play from Anton Checkhov’s “The Boor”. It is about a woman and a rude debt collector trying to persuade the woman to urgently pay the debt of her late husband.
