It’s safe to say that whatever Taylor Swift does become major news. Just take a look at what happened when she released the lead single from her latest album Reputation, “Look What You Made Me Do.” Of course, it isn’t surprising when you consider that “the old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now. Why? Oh, ’cause she’s dead!”
There’s something new to talk about now as Swift surprise dropped the album’s next single, titled “…Ready For It?”.

Swift previewed the song during the Alabama vs. Florida State college football game before releasing the full song on YouTube, which has almost three million views as of posting.
Like “Look What You Made Me Do,” “…Ready For It” is darker compared to her previous work. But like her old songs, people are speculating that the song is about her new lover, actor Joe Alwyn. One particular line goes, “Knew he was a killer / First time that I saw him,” which they say is a reference to Alwyn’s role as a killer in Ang Lee’s film Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk.
Knowing how Swift likes to make references to her life, fans will surely keep theories about the song coming.
Reputation will be released in full on November 10.
