Xyriel Manabat’s 20th birthday became extra special with a romantic car trunk surprise from her non-showbiz boyfriend, Nathaniel Avila Toledo! On Instagram, the former child star shared moments from her touching birthday salubong on January 27.

The first video showed Manabat getting emotional upon seeing the surprise and blowing her cakes. She also posted sweet photos with her boyfriend. In the caption, she revealed that she had been wishing to experience to receive birthday surprises.Â
“Most of the time, I’m the party or surprise organizer. I plan and watch my family/friends/loved ones enjoy their day. Witnessing others make arrangements or preparations for the person they love had me feeling quite emotional and envious at some point. I will catch myself asking when is my turn?” she wrote.

The actress also expressed appreciation and gratitude for her boyfriend, admitting she didn’t expect this sweet side of him.
“With that… I WOULD WANT TO EXPRESS SUPER DUPER APPRECIATION TO THIS SPECIAL PERSON WHO MADE THIS EFFORT!!!! Coming from someone na never ko inexpect na may gantong side pala.”Â
She added, “Thanks for always saving me and showing me what the world has to offer THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME EXPERIENCE FOR SHOWING ME AND FOR MAKING ME FEEL WHAT LOVE IS.” [sic].
She also thanked her family for helping Toledo with the surprise and supporting them.
In June 2023, Manabat introduced her boyfriend to the public through an Instagram post, sharing photos from their Baguio trip. She called him “super BFF” and “pogiest boyfriend.”
