We’ve always known that Xian Lim and Kim Chiu are relationship goals, but we were once again reminded how special Chiu is to Lim when he carried her down the stairs during the ABS-CBN Ball last month. The fit of her dress made it almost impossible for her to walk down or even take the escalator, so her Prince Charming decided to take matters into his own hands.
Now, we get another sneak peek into their relationship. Lim recently shared the photos of his first date with Chiu in 2012. He posted a series of photos on Instagram, simply captioned with, “First date 2012 @chinitaprincess ??❤️ nagkakahiyaan pa ??” [“We were still both shy.”]
There’s no indication of where the first date was, but it looked like they went scuba diving based on Lim’s wetsuit.
Chiu responded to the post, saying, “oh em g!!!!!??????❤️ hahahhaha”
The couple both confirmed they were exclusively dating in 2013, when the duo appeared on an episode of Kris TV. However, they only admitted their relationship in January of this year, when Lim appeared on Tonight With Boy Abunda. He said, “Ayaw naming umamin habang magkatrabaho kami. I don’t want people thinking, e kasi gusto lang nilang i-promote ang team-up nila e. Years later, we’re still together and we’re not promoting anything.”
