On July 20, Marvel Studios unveiled their plans for the years 2020-2021 and revealed their lineup of films and series that feature both new and old faces. However, aside from this, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige also name-dropped a couple of big titles on their way out. “There’s a lot of things we didn’t get to talk about today,” Feige shared. This moment happened right before he called out two-time Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali onto the stage to officially announce the Blade reboot.

Here’s a list of films the Marvel Studios president hinted on during their panel:

It’s still too early but Phase 5 is shaping up to be an era of sequels with Phase 4 more or less introducing a brand new spectrum of characters and lore. I’m personally excited for every single one of these things, but bringing Blade into the MCU fold means they’re delving into heavier and darker territory. Doctor Strange 2 director Scott Derrickson already announced that his film going to be the first scary MCU movie so bringing in a vampire hunter would definitely make sense eventually.
