Here’s something to help you survive the week: the trailer of Wonder Woman 1984Â is here and it’s totally righteous.

In the clip, we see Gal Gadot and Chris Pine return as Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor in 1984. We also meet new characters, including Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal.
Wiig will be playing Barbara Ann Minerva, an archeologist obsessed with gaining treasures held by Diana Prince. She has the ability to transform into a human and cheetah hybrid. Meanwhile, Pascal will be playing Maxwell Lord, a businessman known for his infomercials. In the DC universe, he is known for helping start Justice League International.

Wonder Woman is on a roll. Many have praised the film and much of it has been heaped on Gal. She’s beautiful, she’s charming (just check out all her interviews), and she can kick butt (she filmed Wonder Woman while five months pregnant). It’s breaking records, too: last year, Rotten Tomatoes ranked the film as the fourth best superhero movie of all time.
Wonder Woman 1984 will premiere on June 5, 2020.
