David Henrie talked about the possibility of a Wizards of Waverly Place reboot in an interview with Access for his upcoming movie with Gregg Sulkin, This Is The Year. Both Henrie and Sulkin starred in the former Disney Channel Show.
According to Henrie, the cast is ‘onboard’ the idea of a Wizards of Waverly Place reboot.
While this isn’t an official confirmation that a reboot will happen, Henrie said that the cast has been talking about a possible reunion. “Everyone wants to know. I mean, there’s nothing happened yet, but there’s a lot of talk,” he said.
During the interview, Sulkin mentioned that Wizards of Waverly Place “will always hold a special place in our heart and that feeling and that love for one another in the show will never ever go away.”
This is The Year is also a joint project with Selena Gomez, who played Alex Russo on Wizards of Waverly Place.Â
