Wildlife Hospital Staff Finally Solve Mystery Behind this ‘Rare Bird’

A few days ago, a bird with bright orange feathers was brought to a wildlife hospital. Its unusual bright orange color bemused the staff. Some people even claim that it resembles the legendary Pokemon species called Ho-Oh. But the folks over at Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital didn’t know that they were in for a surprise.

The mystery immediately uncovered itself after they cleaned the bird. What they thought was a rare species turned out to be a normal gull that’s covered with–(wait for it)–curry sauce! The employees have no idea how it ended up with curry all over its body but they are happy to say that aside from the smell and unusual color, the gull is healthy.

“Well, this is a first for us! This bright orange bird is actually a herring gull, who had somehow gotten himself covered in curry or turmeric!” -@tiggywinklesuk

The moment was too funny and memorable that the folks at the wildlife center gave it a name–Vinny, which is short for vindaloo curry.
