FINAL WYKK POSTER

The Department of English of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) and members of the UST English Language Studies Society (UST-ELSSOC) renews “Wikang Yaman: Kuwento at Kuwenta” (WYKK). WYKK is a treasure language storytelling event that aims to recognize and celebrate the diversity of Philippine languages through acting and storytelling.

For this year, famous Philippine folklores and legends will be narrated by actors who speak fluent Philippine languages (e.g., Waray, Ilocano) before translating them to English in line with their theme “Embracing Languages Through Enchanting Stories.”
